As Promised...
From my story, "The Unperfect Tree", included in the Christmas Anthology, Make A Joyful Noise, published on Amazon today:
"...Every year, all the pine trees vied for the honor of being chosen by Farmer Jay for the title of being a "Farmer Jay Christmas Tree."
Farmer Jay always passed up little Timmy Tree, because when Timmy Tree was a wee little pine tree, ice had fallen onto him from one of his towering relatives nearby and had broken off several of the branches on one side of his trunk. It hurt him and left him wobbly and lopsided."
