Stupid Decisions and Actions

I've done some stupid things in my life; I can't have reached the age I am today (and survived) without having made some bad decisions. I have put myself in some dangerous positions and have some serious regrets. That being said, when I ask forgiveness from God, I ask for forgiveness more for myself and my own actions, words, and decisions, than for people who do or say less than positive things to me. Some day, these things might come back to try to bite me. My response will be just this: I will own up to my actions and voice, knowing that it was not the intent to hurt nor harm another. The phrases that come to mind are, "Seemed like a good idea at the time," and "Here, hold my beer." Being flippant, but meant with all my heart (at the time).
