Yard cleanup

I’ve had a lot of down time lately, as many have had globally, but only recently have I truly looked at my front yard. Weeds were trying to overtake it and I knew there was no way that I could nor wanted to handle removing all of them by myself, so I went online to my local “Nextdoor” app and posted a ‘Help Wanted’ ad.

“Anyone interested in earning $20 for pulling weeds in my front yard? Self-distancing is not an issue…”

I got a response within ten minutes and this afternoon; my yard went from this to this:

The teenager who responded did an impressively thorough job, so I’ll be calling her for my future yard/garden projects.
